2025-12-11: : The TRA President met with Water-Sewer District 6 (WSD6) personnel and a neighbor who is knowledgeable about an area where a portion of the shoulder was being washed-out due to water flow at a location where it had not been seen before. Ultimately, it was determined that there was little to no risk for erosion under or near the edge of the paved portion of the road. TRA, WSD6, and the neighbor are continuing to finalize the assessment and develop a way forward.
The TRA officers continue to ask that the use of heavy equipment on Tanglewood be deferred during the winter months to help preserve the repair work completed in 2024 and paid for by your annual dues. As a reminder, LeMay Enterprises will take on additional bags of garbage for each account’s next scheduled pick-up since the December 11th collection was cancelled.
2025-11-10: Restriction of Heavy Trucks/Equipment during winter months. See details here.
Sixty-two properties (1) are accessed using the private portion of Tanglewood Drive. Maintenance and repair of the road relies on the collective contribution of property owners. The Tanglewood Road Association is a means for owners to gather and select approaches for maintaining and repairing the road.
(1) One parcel with no structure, measuring 0.21 acres, was not included in this total. The private portion of the road, approximately 0.8 miles in length, begins at the mailbox station and dead-ends near the Washington State Forest boundary. The ends of Tanglewood are depicted by red arrows in the image. Parcels south of the yellow border depict properties accessed using Tanglewood.
In a signed agreement dated 7 July 1993, property owners agreed to maintain and repair Tanglewood Drive. In the time since that agreement was filed, many of the original parcels have been subdivided.
